Hey guys,

I don't care much for credit… we work for the community and to support great jobs like SPF.

I and Bulli both did an good work, we can share it.

Andy, the custom labels can stay the way it is, but these initial values could be at the po file so it would be created on the database already internationalized. I dont know the exact behaviour load_plugin_textdomain but I think it is possible.

Regards!

A credit and link is the least we can do! We also offer – to all current translators who offer a product or servcie – a free ad on our main site (in our sidebar) so if that applies to either of you guys I can provide details. Your efforts open up SPF to a new user base and while we make no money whatsoever from this it is a source of pleasure and pride to us!

I understand the point you make but it wouldn't work. We need to get these values from the database. We could certainly look at other methods of pre-populating them in the future however.

That is funny, mine does not have them.

Which program you are using to check?

I am using Poedit 1.4.5

Same – 1.4.5
I also opened the PO file in a plain text editor and searched for them that way. (MUST be plain text – don't use a word processor as it will destroy the file)

YellowSwordfish,

Yes, I use Notebad for this, the file I have does not have them.

Can you give me a link to download a clean fresh file po without any translation, just English?

Best regards,

Bulli

You can download the English 'master' PO file from here.

However, I just downloaded the Brazilian files from this forum – at the top of the topic list – and that also has these strings in…

Yellowswordfish,

Yes, the file is from Jan, I could not get it to open because of a unicode conversion error I kept getting in Poedit (we dealt with it by e-mail)

So I was unable to use it, I got only the translation done by Jane from it and used the old file, it seems that the old file altough working it is missing some phrases.

It is better this way, doing it from Correct origin, I am using the Forum live and would like it be perfect.

I already started working on the file, and yes they are there.

Thanks for the support.

Best regards,

Bulli

Hi Yelloswordfish,

Here is the final file, it is used live in my forum:

You can use this link to download the file and put it iin the main link

And please delete this topic as there is no need for it anymore:

http://translate.simplepressfo…..ated-file/

If there is something would be a minor change.

Best regards,

Bulli
