Hello,

I was wondering where can I download the latest .po file for translation into Hebrew?

I am aware that there is a Hebrew translation available but there are several problems with the translation:

1. Translation is not accurate.

2. I would like to keep the backstage in English the rest in Hebrew; which leads me to the question: since it seems it's all in one file, is there a way to differentiate between the two?)

3. A .po file is supplied with the Hebrew translation but it contain an error and I do not wish to work on an erroneous file.

4. When working on the exiting .po, it looks like some of the fields are mismatched with the translation, it seems like a glitch and doesn't appear so in the actual forum or backstage.

Thank you in advance for your input!

Sincerely.

Sorry to have been slow responding, The latest PO file is part of the download from this site. That's the only one we have. What is the error please?

Sorry for the delay…

This is what I get when I save the .po file:

9:03:17 PM: sforum-he_IL.po:354: a format specification for argument 1 doesn't exist in 'msgstr'
9:03:17 PM: msgfmt: found 1 fatal error

Apparently it does save my new, updated, translation but I am just afraid that this error will cause some other error along the way.

That is telling you that on line 354 of the PO file the translated text is missing an embedded placeholder. This will almost certainly be seen in the original english text as '%s'. When Sp runs, the %s placeholder is replaced with a value.
