OfflineAndy – my pleasure!
Wow! Tuscany is one of my favorites Italian regions. Hope you have a great holiday!!!
Tuscany cities not to miss:
- Florence | because I love it!!!
- Lucca | Ancient and medieval city (the walled town is simply awesome)
- Siena | Art, medieval cityscape, museums, cuisine… do not miss it!
Tuscany has a unique culinary tradition and is famous for its wines (Brunello di Montalcino, Chianti)!!! What can I say here – Take care of yourself!!! LOL
All the best
Gianni

OfflineWe are going to ignore Florence this trip. Partly because I have had some problems with a foot recently and want to restrict walking and I reckon Florence would demand the most walking. Partly because we want to do Florence justice and come over soon and just stay there for a few days.
But visits to Lucca and Siena are already on the plan. We are staying in four different places over the two weeks and have a car lined up. I am mainly interested in looking at the country – the quiet, out of the way places. And looking into house prices! Oh yes – and tasting the wine! Italian wine has always been my favourite. OK… and Italian food!

OfflineWow! That might have beaten the record (held by Michael our German translator).
As always Gianni – thank you.
By the way – had a few days in Venice last year and then a couple of weeks in Tuscany… my first visit to your country. Loved every minute and we are already planning where to head for this year.
Thanks again and ciao for now.
